     Comite Resources, Inc. is currently active in the border region of South Texas known as the Lower Rio Grande Valley and is working with communities in the development of innovative methods for the treatment of municipal wastewater; and in the development and/or enhancement of wetlands to improve the quality of water of already treated wastewater. These types of wetlands are referred to as enhancement or polishing wetlands.

     The Texas office is also supporting the efforts of the Arroyo Colorado Watershed Partnership, a group of diverse stakeholder working to improve water quality in the Arroyo Colorado and Lower Laguna Madre. Go to www.arroyocolorado.org for more information.

     Comite Resources, Inc. Texas office partners with Casa Engineering, LLC, and other local engineering firms in the pursuit of projects related to the development of cost-effective solutions to wastewater treatment, green subdivision design, energy-efficient housing, water reuse, and storm water management.
